About the Course
Our greens consist of a bent/poa mix and our fairways and tees consist of a bluegrass/poa mix.
The course was re-constructed in 1989. In 1998, Justin Gustafson started as the course superintendent and set a goal of having summer rules at the Ely Golf Club. He started by implementing a strong agronomic maintenance program which raised the standard of green, tee, and fairway conditions.
We now receive numerous compliments of how our greens are the finest some golfers have ever played, not to mention the best ever in the history of the course.
